Are you curious if your hearing has changed? Adults over 55 are welcome to receive a free hearing screening.
A hearing screening is not a hearing test. A hearing screening will establish whether or not you should be taking the next step to have their hearing tested by an audiologist. The screening is completed using an Audiometer.
Please bring your government-issued health card, Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) are funded by the Ministry of Health.
*Individuals with identified hearing loss are welcome to attend the Hearing Screening if you have questions around their hearing loss or aids and/or CHS services.
Please bring your hearing aids or any other assistive hearing devices that you may have concerns about or require support with.
Note: CHS Counsellors do not make adjustments to hearing aids programs etc. Such services can be accessed through the hearing professional who prescribed the hearing aid to the individual.
Check out other Speech and Hearing Month events at your library.
