Learn about common types of scams, red flags to watch out for, how to protect yourself, and resources for staying safe online.
Our Brain Connect program supports The Brain Injury Association of Waterloo-Wellington (BIAWW). Survivors as well as older adults will learn to utilize technology and increase their digital literacy and awareness about online safety. Familiarizing individuals about common types of phishing scams and how to protect their personal information will build confidence and empower them to utilize assistive technologies to improve their daily lives.
About our Guest
BIAWW is a charitable organization devoted to providing advocacy, education, connections, and empowerment for individuals with acquired brain injury and their families in the Waterloo-Wellington region.
