Craft Material Swap

Old Post Office
Riverview RoomClean out your stash of craft supplies and swap them for supplies you can use!
Donations of clean, useable craft supplies may be made during open hours at the Old Post Office main floor desk from Monday, September 28 until 11:00 am the day of the swap on Saturday, October 3. The swap will start at 12:00 pm. Check out Next in Fibre: DIY Day for more details on the swap and other events happening that day.
Donations will be limited to one medium-size or smaller box or bag per person.
Items we will accept clean and usable:
- Yarn
- Fabric
- Scrapbooking paper and embellishments
- Beads, buttons, ribbon
- Knitting needles, crochet hooks, patterns
- Sewing notions (thread, elastic, patterns)
- Tools (scissors, glue guns, pottery tools)
- Surfaces (canvas, watercolour paper, drawing paper)
- Cricut materials (partial vinyl rolls, tools)
- Complete or mostly complete craft kits
We will not accept:
- Dirty, smelly, or mouldy items
- Broken or damaged items
- Any liquid items such as paints or glue
- Any hazardous items
Library staff reserve the right to decline donations that do not fit these guidelines.
Accessibility
If you require an accessibility accommodation for this program or event, please tell us how we can meet your needs as soon as possible so arrangements can be organized. If you require a sign language interpreter, please let us know at least two-weeks (10 working weekdays) before the program date.
If you are attending a registered program with a support person, please add your support worker as a guest when you sign up.
