Seasonal Watercolour Tree Series: Autumn Tree

Children's Program RoomPart one of a four-part seasonal watercolour painting series.
A relaxed, step-by-step series explores the beauty of trees through the changing seasons. Each session features a different seasonal tree and introduces new watercolour techniques in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Attend a single workshop or all four to build your skills and create a collection of seasonal artwork. Additional workshops for winter, spring, and summer trees will be available as the year progresses.
Autumn Tree
Celebrate the vibrant colours of fall as you learn to paint a deciduous tree at the height of its autumn foliage. This session covers foundational watercolour techniques, including wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting, colour mixing, and establishing a light source to create depth and dimension. Create a beautiful season painting to display at home and build the confidence to continue your watercolour journey.
About the presenter
Brooke Burnet-Brown is a local watercolour artist. Since 2017, she has owned and operated The Tiny Paint Company, which produces miniature illustrations illustrating the beautiful things in life, no matter how big or small.

As part of our Connections 50+ suite of programming, this older adult-focused program features a variety of entertaining activities such as local musicians, guest speakers, art activities, and much more.
