How to Photograph your Artwork
with Scott Lee
Thursday, October 08
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Queen's Square
StudioLearn how to photograph your artwork to best represent your work to art collectors, arts organizations, galleries, and arts granting agencies.
In our digital world, good documentation is important as more and more art enthusiasts discover art online through social media and artists' websites, while granting agencies and professional arts organizations have moved to primarily digital application formats. This workshop outlines considerations that an artist should have for lighting conditions, staging their work, and the equipment they will need.
Participants are welcome to bring their own DSLR camera but it is not required. Participants are also welcome to bring a small artwork of their own to photograph, however, there will be sample artworks available as part of the workshop.
