Community Desk, QSInteractive Islamic Heritage Month Display by ICNA Sisters Cambridge.
This interactive display explores the impact of Muslim scientists and innovators on the world today. From the numeral system we use to the coffee we enjoy, contributions from the Islamic world influence everyday life in more ways than you might expect.
The display also features a Sunnah table highlighting foods mentioned in the prophetic tradition, along with their subsequently discovered health benefits.
Drop in for a treat and discover fun facts about Islamic history.

ICNA Sisters is a group of Canadian Muslim women working to build an exemplary Canadian Muslim community through education, communication and development. ICNA Sisters is a branch of ICNA Canada, a non-profit organization and registered charity.

About the branch
Located in the heart of downtown Galt, Queen’s Square features the largest public library collection in the city as well as the main gallery and studio space for the Cambridge Art Galleries. After exploring the Gallery, relax with a book in the multiple study and reading areas, discover the large children’s department, or take in a special musical performance on the grand piano.
Cambridge Public Library supports and inspires its community to explore reading, the arts, innovation, and lifelong learning across five locations and online.
