Participants can also take a free brain health assessment, ask questions about their results, and receive personalized tips. To take the assessment, participants should have basic computer skills, be 50 to 85 years old, and be able to read and understand English. Please bring your glasses if needed and arrive five minutes early to set up on the provided laptops.
This description highlights what participants can expect, and highlights the need for basic computer skills to complete the workshop. The assessment needs to be taken individually to assess individual brain health, so we are unfortunately unable to support individuals with computer skills.
About the presenter
Baycrest is a hospital aimed at improving aging-related health and wellbeing for older adults. Through these workshops we hope to engage older adults in important conversations about their brain health, improve the quality of life of individuals at risk of dementia, and support research efforts to prevent, treat, and cure dementia.

As part of our Connections 50+ suite of programming, this older adult-focused program features a variety of entertaining activities such as local musicians, guest speakers, art activities, and much more.
