Hospice Waterloo Region provides a range of services in Cambridge, including:
- Volunteer Visiting in the home
- Day Away Program at Langs in Preston
- Complementary therapies, including Reiki and reflexology
- Massage therapy
- Bereavement groups
- Hospice Waterloo Region also offers public presentations at Cambridge Active Living Centres throughout the year. Visit the Community Desk for information about the presentation schedule.
All programs and services are provided at no cost.
About our partner
Hospice Waterloo Region was founded in 1993 by Lucille Mitchell, a local resident who recognized the need for hospice palliative care services in the Waterloo Region. Hospice’s core program is the Volunteer Visiting Program. Individuals living with life-threatening illness are matched one on one with a highly trained hospice volunteer who commits to making weekly visits to the client’s home to provide emotional and practical support.

Located in the heart of downtown Galt, Queen’s Square features the largest public library collection in the city as well as the main gallery and studio space for the Cambridge Art Galleries.
