Mark the occasion of a near-total solar eclipse - a once in a lifetime experience - with kids activities, livestream video, and have an opportunity to view the eclipse safely.
Enjoy solar eclipse activities and crafts for kids in the Discovery Centre.
Important Note: Never look directly at the sun without proper eye protection, such as safe solar viewing glasses (eclipse glasses) which are not the same as regular sunglasses. You can also use an indirect viewing method, such as a pinhole viewer which projects the the sun's image onto another surface where you can safely view the eclipse.
Starting at noon on April 8, get a pinhole viewer for safe eclipse viewing (weather permitting) while supplies last. One per family.
Limited numbers of eclipse glasses will be shared as part of the event while onsite once the eclipse starts, also while supplies last.
