Make new friends, earn volunteer hours, receive academic and career guidance - and enjoy free food and bus tickets for every session!
This program is designed for newcomer youth aged 14–21, focusing on education, career exploration, and community connections.
Each session features engaging activities and opportunities to meet community mentors who will share valuable resources and guidance. Learn how to write a resume, explore potential career paths, connect with mentors from various fields, and discover tools and programs available in your community to support your future goals.
We believe in the power of community and the importance of listening to the voices of newcomer youth. Programs like this empower young people to make a positive impact in their communities while gaining knowledge about Canadian culture, systems, values, rights, and responsibilities.
This program is proudly brought to you by IRCC and the Library Settlement Program in partnership with the KW Multicultural Centre.
