About the Facilitator
Abiha Syed Abiha Syed, the facilitator for this program, brings over 15 years of experience in community engagement and leadership. As the Community Engagement Coordinator at Immigration Partnership and a co-founder and past Chair of Muslim Women of Cambridge, Abiha has a deep understanding of the importance of inclusive leadership and community-driven change.
Abiha’s passion for building relationships, bridging gaps, and empowering women from diverse backgrounds has been the driving force behind her involvement in various community initiatives. She has dedicated her career to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion in the Waterloo Region, using her platform to amplify marginalized voices and advocate for positive change.
In 2017, Abiha co-founded Muslim Women of Cambridge with a mission to support and empower Muslim women in the community. Under her leadership, the organization has made significant strides in promoting inclusivity and respect for diversity. Abiha’s focus on allyship and her commitment to empowering women from all walks of life makes her an ideal facilitator for this program.
Abiha believes in creating spaces where diverse voices are heard and valued, and she is passionate about helping women become the leaders they were always meant to be. Through her work, she has inspired countless women to take charge of their futures and pursue leadership opportunities that can change their lives and their communities for the better.
