About our Partner
Wounds 2 Wings Trauma and Embodiment Association of Ontario (TEAO) is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for mental health and trauma recovery. Our mission is to provide immediate, community-based mental health services, offering mental health assessments, crisis support, and connection to vital resources. TEAO advocates for a shift in mental health services towards early intervention, especially for vulnerable populations, with the goal of preventing hospitalizations and reducing emergency services. Our team works to deconstruct power dynamics, destigmatize mental health, and promote healing through embodiment practices. Together, we aim to build a resilient community where individuals thrive and support each other toward long-term wellness.
By engaging the community, TEAO strives to make mental health care accessible, compassionate, and stigma-free.
