About the Presenter
Karen Campbell has been a registered psychotherapist since 2011. Karen has a Master of Counselling Degree, with a specialization in Art Therapy. She has over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with complex mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment, intergenerational issues, grief and loss, as well as those looking for assistance with emotional regulation, self compassion and self-care. Karen brings an open-minded, client-centered approach to therapy. Karen also has extensive training in working with individuals who have been prenatally exposed to alcohol. She is a committed ally to our indigenous neighbours and cares deeply about the ongoing injustices of colonization. Karen believes in the healing properties that connection brings; the fertile ground for growing the seeds of positive change.
Outside of the office, Karen is passionate about her connection with nature, creative endeavours, and living a balanced life. She enjoys photography, camping, kayaking and learning about plants.
