Learn and perform live in this four-week course.
This summer, explore your creativity and learn the art and science of DJing with DJ David ML (aka Furious George). This four-day workshop will teach all the basics from the equipment and software used, beatmatching and mixing, all the way up to uploading your own mix and performing live. We’ll also go into depth on building and maintaining your music library and playlists, reading and responding to crowds, and building your own brand. Along the way, we’ll also touch upon the science of sound as it relates to DJing, and the evolution of music throughout history and cultures.
Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with DJing, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to hone your skills and take your musical abilities to the next level!
