Explore music in the theatre of the Creative Studios!
Each week explore a new facet of music:
Week One - Senses: How do different types of music make you feel? We will explore how music can affect the way, you think, feel, and move.
Week Two - Rhythm and Harmony: A look into the building blocks of a song.
Week Three - Instruments Through Time: We'll have a look at the types of musical instruments used throughout out history and the evolution that's lead to instruments today.
Week Four - Recording: Brief history of recording and how it's changed through the years. Have a chance to record yourself singing your favourite song.
Week Five - Electronic Music: A look at the evolution of electronic music and the instruments creating the music.
Week Six - Make your own instrument: Choose from a number of musical crafts that you can take home to continue your musical exploration.
Registration begins on Monday, January 9 at 10:00 am. Please register the child attending the program.
