Tap your toes and count to the beat while learning about the math of music in the Creative Studios.
Week 1: Musical Counting - A continuation from week one of counting beats, rhythm, and meter.
Week 2: Fractions in Music - We will focus on how notes are divided within a bar, their symbols and math plays into their divisions.
Week 3: How multiplication and division relate to music - We will look into how musical bars can be divided up by time signatures and meter.
Week 4: Musical Pitch - The focus will be on audio frequencies and how humans interpret them at different volumes.
Week 5: Connecting Math and Music - A look at polyrhythms and polymeters and their mathematical relations.
Registration begins on October 17 at 10am.
