Learn to solder a simple solar circuit project. Explore solar power, current, motors and more!

The solar bug will skitter and scatter across your floor or table when powered by the sun. Solar Bug Kits can be picked up at the Old Post Office beginning one week ahead of the program on Saturday May 15th. Soldering Iron Kits can be borrowed from the Old Post Office using your library card.

Ages 12 and up can try this activity with a signed waiver from parents. Please fill out and sign one of the waivers that will be emailed to you and bring it to the Old Post Office as you collect your kits. Waivers can also be filled out when you arrive for kit pickup.

This program is delivered through Zoom. You only need to register once per viewing device.
