LGBTQ2S+ identifying individuals are invited to explore a different creative project each month in a fun and safe space.
Join us for this fun, casual program. Together we will explore a new creative project with a guest artist each month. Registration is limited to 2SLGBTQ+ identified people in the Waterloo Region. This month we are exploring zine making with artist Brittany Sostar. No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
About the instructor:

Brittany Sostar is an emerging artist who makes drawings, photographic series, collages, zines, and performance pieces. These works aim to explore identity, relationships, and perceptions. In reconfiguring the familiar and society’s deemed ‘norms’, Brittany draws attention to areas of disruption that can be made within repetitive or habitual behaviors and modes of thinking. Most recently, these areas of focus are being applied to a body of works and research projects focusing on gender, queerness, and kinship.

This program is offered in partnership with Spectrum, Waterloo Region’s Rainbow Community Space.
