Rhythm & Blues Cambridge is excited to invite you all to our 2023 Cambridge Black History Month Celebration: Celebrating History and Weaving Our Dreams.
We have an entire afternoon of fun activities for the whole family!
We have partnered with Peggy Plet to develop and host a Black History Trivia game local to Waterloo Region!
The Cambridge Guild - Ontario Handweavers and Spinners will be hosting yarn and weaving workshops.
Cambridge Art Galleries is having a textile-based Art Exhibit featuring Black artists titled: To Build What We Become When We Dream, curated by Sarah-Tai Black. *Exhibition Opening rescheduled to March 4th.
Skaha Zulu will be hosting drumming workshops, and Irie Mirie will be providing delicious Caribbean cuisine.
Come out and celebrate with us. This is a free event, but we ask that you still register so we know how many people to expect.
