Week 1: Harmony - We will look into how individual sounds (frequencies, pitches, and chords) are joined together or composed into whole units or compositions.
Week 2: Counting - We will dive into rhythm, meter and tempo, and how they form beats.
Week 3: Melody - Combining pitch and rhythm we will explore how the two create a song.
Week 4: Notes - An intro into musical notes – pitch and duration – and how they are the building block of written music.
Week 5: Scale - A look into how musical notes relate to each other and create scales.
Registration begins on September 6 at 10am.
