Is fostering right for you?
Family & Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region (FACS) is in high need of foster caregivers for children from newborns to age 18. We are seeking caregivers that have the time, energy, patience, and commitment to support children and families through difficult times. Learn about the role FACS plays in the community, receive an introduction to fostering and learn about the application process. There is no commitment to fostering required to attend this event.

Family & Children's Services of the Waterloo Region is legally known as The Children’s Aid Society of the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. It is their role to respond and work together with families, their supports, and our communities to protect and care for children who have been, or are at risk of being, abused or neglected.

After exploring the Gallery, relax with a book in the multiple study and reading areas, discover the large children’s department, or take in a special musical performance on the grand piano.
