This is a four-week course running May 26, June 2, 9, 16
You’ve really gotten into SLR-style photography and would like to take it to the next level? Join us for a four-week course learning the tricks and magic of new SLR techniques. We will work on the exciting subjects of advanced portraiture with an introduction to studio lights, low light photography special effects, and storytelling with photojournalism. It is recommended that students master the techniques of the Basic and Intermediate courses before attempting this course. SLR-style cameras with interchangeable lenses are recommended- film or digital. A tripod will be needed for some of the lessons. Point-and-shoot cameras and cell phones do not have the range of settings for the assignments in this course, but students with that gear are welcome to watch and learn.
