Enjoy 1922's Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, the original vampire movie, brought to life with the haunting live musical accompaniment of the VOC Silent Film Harmonic.
This evening will be a rare opportunity to experience a silent film the way it was originally intended, with a live musical performance. The VOC Silent Film Harmonic will create an original, improvised score to this horror classic and one of the most influential movies ever made.
Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror is an early German Expressionist masterpiece featuring the vampire, Count Orlok, as played by Max Schreck, in this first ever and unauthorized interpretation of Bram Stoker’s gothic novel, Dracula.
The VOC Silent Film Harmonic is a group that was formed with the idea of performing live and original improvised soundtracks to accompany silent films.
