We get to meet Samantha who is interested in all things manta ray, especially how to ensure that their habitats are free of pollution.
During this talk we will learn about the habitats of these fascinating creatures, how plastic pollution, specifically microplastics, affects all aspects of their lives, and what you can do to help!
To attend, please click on register or go to Idea Exchange’s Facebook page to watch the live video.
Samantha: She is a graduate and former research student from the University of Toronto where she studied microplastic pollution, and is currently a legal research analyst. You can most often find Samantha walking her dog Wally, reading, or volunteering at litter cleanups with the University of Toronto Trash Team.
