StudioYou’ve really gotten into SLR-style photography and would like to take it to the next level?
In this four-week course, students build their photography skills through advanced portraiture, studio lighting, low-light techniques, creative special effects, and visual storytelling inspired by photojournalism.
Students should be comfortable with the techniques covered in the Basic and Intermediate courses before registering. An SLR-style film or digital camera with interchangeable lenses is recommended, and a tripod will be required for some lessons.
Point-and-shoot cameras and cell phones may not offer the range of manual settings needed to complete the course assignments. However, students using these devices are still welcome to attend, observe, and learn.
