Children's Program RoomLearn about Sunnyhill Homestead, home to a national free seed library.
Presenter, Sarah Gomez, discusses the importance of seed saving along with which seeds can be saved (hybrid vs open pollinated vs heirlooms) and how to save different seed types. This session also touches on GMO and hybridized seeds as there are now GMO patented seeds available for home gardeners.

As part of our Connections 50+ suite of programming, this older adult-focused program features a variety of entertaining activities such as local musicians, guest speakers, art activities, and much more.

Nestled in historic Hespeler village, the Hespeler Library is a fusion of the old and the new. This 100-year-old Carnegie library is encased in a modern glass structure and boasts a comfortable reading area with a fireplace as well as a spacious and welcoming children’s area. The environmentally responsible building features recycled white oak floors and a ceramic treatment on the glass to reduce sunlight intensity.
