LGBTQ2S+ identifying individuals are invited to explore a different creative project each month in a fun and safe space.
Is it time to bring some colour and cheer into your space? Come on out for a fun night of making with Michael and Peter of woolwaterneedle and you’ll end the evening with something woolly and wonderful to decorate your home or give as a gift. All we need is some wool, a cookie cutter, a felting needle, some embellishments and our collective creativity to create something beautiful and cheery. This is a great introduction to needle felting using a cookie cutter as a guideline, but also a very fun and creative way to spend the evening no matter what your prior experience. At the end of the workshop, students will have at least one needle felted decoration, ready to hang or gift to someone special. All supplies are included.
This program is offered in partnership with Spectrum, Waterloo Region's Rainbow Community Space.
