Third Floor Classroom

Teens can join the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC).

YAC helps to make the library a special place for teens. As a member of YAC, you have a chance to have your say, become involved in the community, and meet new friends. YAC members earn volunteer hours for attending meetings.

At meetings, you can:

  • Suggest ways that the library can serve teens
  • Test out new technology
  • Share ideas for new teen programs
  • Provide feedback about the library's teen collection including books, graphic novels, magazines, and video games
