STEAM fun with our friends from the University of Waterloo.
October 8: Ozocity builders: We will work together to design a living city using OzoBots. We’ll start by learning about the colour codes that OzoBots use to follow lines, speed up, or turn around. They’ll then draw their own section of a city on paper, coding instructions into the road. Everyone’s papers will then be combined to make a mega-city.
October 29: Whimsical Webs: Mix digital design with real-life building, then sprinkle in some Augmented Reality to taste. What do you get? Your very own virtual spider pet!
November 19: Scam Safety Hotline: Learn all about scam safety in a hotline-themed game show! We’ll first learn about common types of scams and how to identify them. Then, we’ll put our skills to the test by identifying scams and earning points for your team.
