Learn garment sewing techniques as you sew your own bucket hat.
This month enjoy a quick and fun project to help you gain confidence sewing and that will leave you all set to enjoy the summer sun! Our volunteers will provide hands-on instructions using the sewing machines in our Makerspace.
You will need to bring one yard of your own fabric to complete the pattern. You can use the same fabric for both the inside and outside of the hat, or mix it up by bringing a 1/2 yard of two different fabrics to create a contrasting pattern! We recommend quilting cotton, a lightweight canvas, or denim.
Registration begins on Monday, May 15 at 10:00 am.
