Photojournalist Paul Gains shares his adventures and understanding of the majestic Snowy Owl.
Snowy Owls are majestic Arctic creatures that often migrate south to spend winter in Southern Canada.
Over the past ten years, photographer and writer Paul Gains has spent thousands of hours in blizzards, freezing rain, and gale force winds observing and photographing Snowy Owls, producing feature stories for newspapers and magazines.
In this 90-minute presentation, Paul will show dozens of photographs demonstrating Snowy Owl behaviour. He will also outline methods by which to enjoy encounters with this Arctic wonder.
