Discover the fundamentals of cinematic lighting and camera work for visual storytelling.
Together, we will explore local resources for aspiring and established filmmakers, practice setting up different cameras for various angles and video shots, and play with some professional LED lighting systems… and other cool gear. This will be a fun and inspiring evening for anyone interested in cinema, filmmaking, and the craft of visual storytelling.
These workshops are a collaboration between Inter Arts Matrix, Idea Exchange, and Cambridge Art Galleries. They are funded by operating grants from the City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Ontario Arts Council Media Arts Projects, and the City of Cambridge as part of our on-going film series. Join us on the third Wednesday of every month to learn how to make films!
