Engineering and earthquakes
How do engineers design a building to withstand an earthquake? Participants will learn all about seismic waves and the engineering design cycle as they attempt to build a structure stable enough to withstand an earthquake. Participants will then test their structures on their very own ‘seismic shaker’.
