Science Odyssey is a national campaign that celebrates Canadian achievements in science,
Technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, featuring fun, engaging, and inspiring activities for Canadians of all ages. Powered by NSERC, Science Odyssey demonstrates how discoveries and innovations shape our daily lives and foster a strong science culture in Canada. ESQ will be joining in on Science Odyessy week by delivering two virtual activities on May 11th. Through hands-on activities, we will highlight Canadian environmental achievements, such as Canada’s Nature Protection Ambitions and the tremendous impact made by the Compost Council of Canada and other organic recycling advocates.
Trashketball: Inspired by Canada’s growing achievements in Organics Recycling nationwide, participants will code a game in scratch which will have them sort garbage, organics, and recycling in the style of a basketball game.
