2022 marks the history of Egyptology by an important anniversary.
November 4th: The centenary of the discovery of the intact tomb of King Tutankhamun by Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in 1922, a discovery that still captures the public imagination.
Sherine ElSebaie will follow the footsteps of the excavators leading to the discovery and will explore the unique contents of the tomb.
About our Speaker:
Sherine ElSebaie is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto. She specializes in ancient Egyptian religion and languages, with a particular interest in the history of archeology, tourism, and cultural heritage.
