Did you know that the ground beneath your feet is bursting with life?
Beyond worms, ants, centipedes and millipedes, soil is home to countless microscopic critters, which work together to help grow our food and keep our planet healthy.
The soil critters' many jobs include recycling our food scraps, animal waste and dead plants back into food for plants, or, compost! In this presentation, you'll get to meet some hard-working soil critters up close, through the lens of a microscope. You'll also learn how you can compost right inside your home, by putting worms and their friends to work inside a vermicompost bin!
Be sure to have some questions ready, because there will be a live Q and A at the end of this program.
