Instructor: Binty Koroma
My name is Binty and I am originally from Sierra Leone West Africa. I came to Canada with my family when I was 10 years old. I have always loved dance, and been dancing since I could walk. When I came to Canada we danced in schools, churches, multicultural festival etc. Right now I'm a mother of 3 beautiful children and the co-founder of Afro-Tribal dance where I teach African dancing to the public. Afro-Tribal Dance is a not-for-profit organization. Our purpose is to help families in Africa. Through humanitarian assistance and our African dance classes, we hope to help these families by collecting non-perishable food items, clothes, school supplies, hygiene products, and baby supplies. My mission in life is to make the world a better place.
